Organic Wool Pull-on Covers and Trainers

Happy Monday!  Just added to the site this morning!  Pull-on covers (often called soakers but I didn't want to confuse everyone since I call our sherpa inserts soakers) and trainers have been added to the site and shop.  These are available in size XS all the way to 5T.  They are made from 100% organic merino wool and 100% organic cotton knit (the exterior print).  There is an extra, contoured layer of merino in the "wet zone."  Great over fitteds and fabulous on it's own as a trainer.  So soft and stretchy!  These range from $25-37 depending on size and are currently available in 9 adorable prints.

Fabric makes me really, really excited.  And lately I've been pouring over swatches at Spoonflower.com and drooling over the scrumptious prints of many indie designers while daydreaming about...diapers.  Yup.  Not sure that many folks look at fabrics and see diapers, but that's what I do!  So I now have a whole bunch of 100% organic cotton knit on its way to me which will be sewn up into our fabulous new one-size diapering system (see post below).  These adorable prints are by Dutch designer Deborah van de Leijgraaf , also known as BORA.  You can check out more of her collections here.

Introducing....The One (You'll) Love.

Just added to the shop for pre-order!  I'm giddy with excitement to start sewing these diapers!  Knit prints are arriving by the end of the month (several will be here this Friday!).  This is an awesome diapering system with lots of options-but don't let that overwhelm you-it really is super simple to use!

The first thing you should know is that this diaper is a completely waterproof system without the use of any synthetic fabrics.  It is also 100% organic.  Every diaper arrives ready-to-go with a snap-in soaker pad.  So it's kind of like an AIO (All-in-One) or AI2 (All-in-two).  There are options to add extra protection and absorbency so that all needs are covered.  The snap-in soaker can be snapped out and changed during diaper changes without changing out the cover.  The cover is SUPER stretchy and soft.    The cute print exterior is 100% organic cotton knit and the interior is 100% organic merino wool.

And guess what?  These fabrics have been prepped, so YES you can machine wash this system!  Hand washing and line drying may extend the beauty of your prints but it absolutely can be machine washed warm and tumble dried low.
